Who we are

This website, locksmithservices.nyc, is operated by Locksmith Services Group Inc ("we", "us"), a locksmith and security services company serving New York City and the areas around it. You can reach us at [email protected].

What we collect

ZIP code lookups. When you enter a ZIP code we use it to tell you whether we cover your area. We do not store it with anything that identifies you.

Schedule requests. When you book a time, you give us your name, phone number, service address, the service you need and your preferred time. We use this to dispatch a locksmith and to call you back to confirm.

Phone calls. When you call the number on this site, your number and the time of the call are recorded by our phone system so a dispatcher can call you back. Calls may be recorded for dispatch accuracy and quality.

Technical records. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to run and protect the site. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this site.

How we use it

To send a locksmith to you, to confirm your booking, to answer your questions and to keep records of the work we did for you. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who sees it

Our dispatchers and the locksmith assigned to your job. Service providers that help us run the business (phone system, hosting, messaging) process it on our behalf and only for that purpose. Authorities, when the law requires it.

Google services

We advertise on Google and manage our own advertising accounts through the Google Ads API under our application "Ads Campaigner". That application touches only our own advertising accounts. It does not collect, store or use any Google account data of visitors to this site, and it never accesses customer Google data.

How long we keep it

Booking and job records are kept for as long as we need them for warranty, accounting and legal purposes, then deleted. Call recordings are kept for a limited period for quality review.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it, by writing to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. You can also ask not to be contacted again.

Children

This site is for adults arranging locksmith services. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We update this page when our practices change. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
