The service

Locksmith Services Group Inc provides locksmith and security services in New York City and nearby areas through its own technicians and licensed partner locksmiths. This website lets you check coverage, call us and request a visit. Using the site or calling us means you accept these terms.

Requests and dispatch

A request on this site is not a confirmed booking until a dispatcher confirms it with you by phone. Dispatch times shown on the site are typical, not guaranteed; traffic, weather and demand can change them. You may cancel a request before the technician is dispatched at no charge.

Proof of authority

For lockouts, lock changes and safe work we must confirm you are entitled to access the property or vehicle. The technician may ask for identification and proof of residence, ownership or authorization before starting, and may decline the job if it cannot be shown.

Pricing and payment

The technician quotes the price on site before starting work, after seeing the lock, door or vehicle. You approve the price before work begins. Payment is due when the work is done, by the methods the technician accepts. Any additional work found during the job is quoted and approved separately.

Warranty

Parts we install carry the manufacturer's warranty. Our workmanship is warranted for 90 days from the date of service. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, tampering, break-in attempts or work done by others after our visit.

Liability

We are responsible for damage caused by our negligence during the job. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, damage inherent in opening a lock or safe without a key where you have approved the method, or indirect losses. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a job is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Your responsibilities

Give accurate information when you request a visit, be present or have an authorized adult present at the service address, and keep pets and children clear of the work area.

Website use

The content of this site belongs to us. You may use the site to arrange services; you may not copy it, scrape it or interfere with it. The site is provided as is, and we may change or suspend it at any time.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Disputes are brought in the courts of New York County, New York. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
